A Family Affair
James Angelopoulos, the founder of Deluxe Dry Cleaning & Laundry, began dry-cleaning in St John’s in 1960. His business philosophy back then was simple: process customers’ garments to the highest quality and return them on time, providing the best customer service possible. Ever since our establishment in 1980, we have grown and expanded successfully and while many things have changed in that time, our fundamental business values have not.
In 2010, James passed the business over to his son, Spiro. Growing up in the business, Spiro aspired to follow his father's path, thriving to offer exceptional attention to detail and customer service. Since then, Deluxe Dry Cleaning & Laundry has expanded its services range to include an insurance restoration division, industrial laundry as well as a commercial uniform, linen and entrance mat rental division. Staying up-to-date with the industry's trends has enabled us to move towards what is now the most technologically advanced, environmentally friendly, energy-efficient dry cleaning and laundry plant in Atlantic Canada.
